The Village Inn Thurlestone With bags of character and delicious gastropub fare, The Village Inn is everything you could hope for in one of Devon’s classic traditional pubs, along with an added charm of its own. After all, it’s not every day you enjoy a pint beneath the beams of wrecked Spanish Armada ships, or savour chef’s favourites along with a perfectly conditioned pint of craft beer.
The Sloop Inn Bantham A friendly award-winning pub, a stone's throw from the world-class surfing beach at Bantham. Priding itself on supporting local produce with an everchanging menu depending on the season. Dog Friendly
The Crabshell Kingsbridge is another place close to our hearts. We have spent a few Friday evenings here.. At high tide don’t forget the crabbing buckets. Its right on the Kingsbridge estuary, south facing, so a very good place for sundowners. Please check the website as lots of events throughout the season to enjoy. Paddle boarding from the Crabshell is available all year round. Give it a go.
